NERVOUS FEELING

           Talking about nervous feeling, many people will know about that feeling. Nerve is one of the feelings that everyone has felt about that. Based on Cambridge dictionary nerve is bravery or confidence necessary to do something difficult, unpleasant or rude. And nervous is worried or anxious or It can say that nervous is uncomfortable feeling. When people have nerve, they get uncomfortable condition with their self and the situation around them. Because the nervous feeling is something that can disturb yourself when you have to do activity that is dealing with many people, here there are some explanations about that feeling.

Signs of nervous
1.    Increasing the frequency of the heart
When people get nerve, their heart frequency will increase more than 80x/second. It is because your heart is influence your nervous feeling that has same feeling with afraid feeling. When people are afraid about something their heart’s frequency will increase.
2.    Trembling body
Trembling body is another signs of feeling nervous. Your body will be trembled when you come forward in front of audience. The common parts of body which are trebled usually hand and feet. It can be seen clearly when you hold something or stand up.
3.    Getting cool sweat
Sweat also becomes other signs or feeling nervous. It is common when people do public speaking and they get sweat. But if they get nervous feeling too much they will get cool sweat in their body.
4.    Speaking in a part
Another signs is people who get nervous will speak in part. It means that they cannot speak fluently when they explain something or speak what they have prepared before. And it influences the way of their speaking.
5.    Looking  at down on the ground
This sign is very clear sign of feeling nervous. The audiences are in front of you, but you don’t see them. Besides showing your nervous feeling, it also impolite attitude. It can show that you don’t respect the audience.
6.    Hiding a part of body
Some people think that hiding the parts of their body will reduce their nerve. It it probably because the audience will not see their trembling body, but that attitude also signs of nerve.
7.    Crossing arms or legs
This sign is also clear enough to see because it can be seen when you do public speaking clearly. Actually this way can make your nerve increasing. It is because you cannot move your body freely and it can give you more verve.
The situation can make nerve
 1.  Public speaking or performance
Public speaking or performance are situation when you have to do speaking in front of the audience like doing speech, debate, drama, and many other performance.
2.   Meeting strangers
When you meet strange people, you will be afraid of him, and when you are afraid, the nervous feeling will appear because of that.
3.  Job interviews
Job interviews is condition that everyone usually get nerve, it is because when you do that, you hope that can receive in that position and you will do the best for that situation. When you have to do the best thing, you usually feel nerve.
4.   Starting a new sport, hobby or new activity for the first time
Starting a new thing is very interesting, we often uncurious about that. Besides uncurious we will also feel nerve because we are afraid of doing that. It is nice or not.
5.   Appointments or meetings that needs more focus
This condition can appear when you meet boss or someone who has higher level than you. You will feel nerve because you have to give the best performance or answer their question easily.

The causes of nerve
•    Less preparation
Someone who feels nerve is because they are less preparation. Preparation is something important to do because without preparation everything can be difficult to do. We do not know what to do and it can make us fell more nervous. That is why preparation is very important step to do for the first time.
•    Doubt
Because of doubt, people who have prepared their material will get nervous feeling also because they think what they are doing is wrong. If you feel that, your nerve and your afraid feeling will come true.
•    Not calm
Nerve can be happened because you are not calm with your condition. You cannot control yourself to be calm and think positively. Calm is the first step to manage your nerve. If cannot be calm, everything that you have prepared before will be lose and you will get bed because you cannot control it.
•    Less confident
Less confident is also causes of nerve. You are not confident because you think you have the bad thing in your life. Whereas, everybody is not perfect and you think that you are the most unperfected people in this world. If you have thought about that, you absolutely feel nerve.

Tips to manage nervous
•    Relax
For the first time you have to do when you are nerve is being relaxed. You can do many things in order to make you relax. For example drinking water, chewing babble gum, reading something, exercising your performance, or many others. The main point of this is you have to feel relax as good as possible you can.
•    Don’t be panic
Panic is also virus of your condition. You have to avoid that panic before you feel nervous. Or if you have felt nerve, don’t be panic because you cannot concentrate what you are going to discuss. If it is happened, it will be dangerous for you.
•    Be sure with yourself
Before doing performance, you have to be sure with yourself. Think that you are the best one in that performance, but don’t say it to everyone. It can be arrogant. Just give spirit to yourself and it makes you sure with what you are going to do.
•    Never looks as bad as it feels
You may not think that you are worse than the people before you. You have to think that everyone has different character, and you also have the best thing in yourself. That is why you have to look for yourself in positive side.
•    Deep breathing
This is easy way to do because everyone can do it. Breathing deeply can make body relax. Especially your neck, your arm, and your head. It is very useful for managing nerve.
•    Don’t be frustrated or angry
Frustrated or angry will add your nerve. Because those can make you more stress than before. Just try to manage your anger in order to make calm yourself.
•    Try to be prepared
Trying to prepare well what you have to explain with getting many resources and much exercise. If you have prepared well, your nerve will be lose because you are ready to do the best for your performance.
•    stop any negative thoughts
You have to stop any negative thinking in your mind because it can make you underestimate yourself. Try to think positively in every single condition you face. Everything can be positive if you think that is positive for you. Just try to think as good as possible.
